Q:: What is Honeycomb fiberglass?
A:: Honeycomb fiberglass is a relatively new technology. It consists of a lightweight honeycombed material designed to distribute weight and provide great strength. This material is then wrapped in fiberglass sheets, followed by a specialized resin and a smooth gel coat finish. Our honeycomb fiberglass floor is a very rigid 1.5″. It will not rot or deteriorate, and under normal conditions will last decades. The floor is built onto a super strong frame that can carry many times its weight.

ADAPTIV™ MODULAR INTERIOR
Q:: Is there print literature available on the Adaptiv™ features?
Q:: What size are the water tanks used for the HC1 kitchenette cube?
A:: The HC1 Adaptiv™
kitchenette uses a portable sink system designed to use water in and outside of the trailer. Ideal for placing on a picnic table. The kitchenette has both fresh water inlets and gray water outlets on the back of the cube for easy filling and draining. You can drain your grey tank by using the hose to connect to the outlet on the side of the trailer, just under the side-wall storage compartment at the front left of the trailer. The internal fresh water and grey water tanks are just shy of 5 gallons. It is recommended that two people lift and move the portable sink if tanks are full.
Q:: Do we need the optional locking hardware if we are going to stack the sink cube on top of a bench cube?
A:: Yes. And while it is not needed, it is recommended that you add the locking hardware to the upper cubes to keep them firmly in place during bumpy travel.
Q:: Can I add an extra location for side wall locking hardware?
A:: Yes, you can drill a small hole in your side wall for the locking hardware. Just be sure to match the hole correctly with the cube insert. To do this it’s best to use a tape measure and map the hole.
Q:: Does the counter top flip and lock connect to the counter top cube and/or the sink cube?
A:: The flip and lock counter top comes standard with the kitchenette cube, but is also available for the counter top cube if needed. Keep in mind the flip and lock counter top cannot have a cube next to it. Feel free to contact us for a full assessment of your Adaptiv™
POWER AND ELECTRICAL
Q:: How is the battery hooked up?
A:: The red wire goes to the positive side of the battery and the black wire goes to the negative side.
Q:: What does the converter do?
A:: The Progressive Dynamics converter converts 120 volt power (standard shore power) to 12 volt power. This allows the converter to run the 12 volt lights and appliances while simultaneously charging the battery on the trailer.
Q:: How long can the HC1 run on the solar power system?
A:: It is possible for the HC1 to have perpetual power for its built-in electronics. The beefy AGM Deep Cycle battery is continuously charged by the contoured 100-watt solar panel. The auto-switching power converter provides both a DC and AC fuse panel and charges your battery when plugged in. The super clean waveform Zamp Solar power inverter provides 600 watts of medical-grade power for your sensitive devices (computers, CPAP). We built the HC1’s power system to be extremely efficient for extreme fun.
Q:: Are the lights LED?
A:: All HC1 lights including exterior running and tail lights and interior click lamps are energy-efficient LED.
Q:: Is the HC1 insulated?
A:: Yes! Between the dual hull fiberglass shell is a thin thermal layer. Depending on weather conditions, condensation can still develop, but this will not harm the trailer or its components.
Q:: Will the HC1 rot or leak?
A:: The HC1 is specially constructed with a sealed dual fiberglass hull designed to eliminate rot and prevent leaks. The exterior of the HC1 will stand up to the harshest weather conditions, from sweltering desert to the deepest winter conditions.
CARE AND WARRANTY
Q:: If the HC1 hull becomes damaged, can I repair it?
A:: Yes. In fact, fiberglass repair is not difficult to do yourself. You can find many ‘how-to’ videos on Youtube, and most auto stores sell fiberglass repair kits. For larger damage or if a professional is desired, contact us for advice or try a local boat repair company.
Q:: Does the gel-coat get chalky or discolored over time?
A:: Gel-coat has been used for decades in the production of cars, boats, and airplanes. Just like the paint on a new car, if you keep it washed and waxed properly, it will retain it’s stunning appearance. Always wash bird droppings and tree sap off as soon as possible and if available keep the HC1 under shelter when not in use.
Q:: Is the HC1 good off-road?
A:: While the HC1 is not designed for off-road use, the trailer’s light weight, rugged frame, and 14-inch clearance provide plenty of freedom. For more clearance, we offer a lifted package.
